UF is his only P5 offer, and offering “depth” is the best we can say? I thought that we would be past this phase by now - feels very Mullenesque
You must have missed the part where he is part of the 2023 class... you know the one that we finished in February so he doesn't affect our 2024 class all while adding immediate availability and depth. Depth is that thing we sorely lacked last season so yes it is a good thing. You act as if people are touting him as a starter or some shit.
There weren’t any worthwhile edges available in the late spring portal. He passed inspection by Napier’s army and appears to have real athletic upside. Highly productive in first year at the edge after moving from Qb. Plenty of eligibility left for potentially a fast riser.

the definition of a Straw Man argument - I didn’t say or even remotely signal any of the above agreed that we had zero depth last year, that happens when you run off 40+ guys totally ready to be proven wrong - will be rooting for this dude, and the panties all in a bundle over my comment speak much louder than your words. this unblinking positivity in light of such a bad season - with undoubtably talented players, 5 top 150 picks - is what I am aiming at. love how the usual suspects came to defend the regime, very on-brand of y’all. let’s try to win some ballgames, fellas - not defend mediocrity. this is a message board, you don’t get paid by the UAA.
I'm sorry, I don't speak fluent nole and I don't remember my 5th grade slang. Please tell me what "undoubtably" means?
100% agree. Jacquez Green was a QB coming to UF. Louchez Purifoy was a QB coming to UF. The are numerous such examples, many turned out to be really good players. Give the kid a chance. Athletic edge rushers at 6'5"/255 don't grow on trees.
Do we have us another Jonathan Greenard with this guy? Greenard I believe was a 2 / low 3 star originally and we know what he did when he transferred to here from Louisville.
