And only Trump refused to return the documents, lied to virtually every federal agency concerned with the documents including a Federal District Court and tried to evade the discovery of the documents in his possession by moving them from different locations within his residence as well as moving some of the documents from his residence. And by the way Biden as vice president did have the power to declassify the documents before he left office although did not do so much like Trump who also had the authority to declassify and did not exercise the power prior to leaving office and was obviously aware that he no longer held that power after leaving office despite his protestations to the contrary.
Fact check: Biden had the authority to declassify as vice president

Clinton was investigated by the Trump DOJ during the Donald's first year in office. Being the vindictive SOB that he is it's a virtually certainty that if there was a case against Hillary Clinton she would have been prosecuted. Most, if not all, of the "top secret" emails concerned drone strikes in Afghanistan, the same drone strikes that were covered by the media. The availability of classified information through open sources is a complete defense to mishandling that information. Just a guess but that's probably the reason that Hillary was not prosecuted. Also some of the documents included in her emails were not clearly marked as classified.

If he wins the election he will have the opportunity to keep his promise to pardon Trump as well as the January 6th insurgents.

How can you possibly discern which are the truths and which are the lies? You CHOOSE which ones to believe.

I listened to 1 minute. People watch stupidity like that instead of actually reading the indictment and making their own judgment about the allegations.

I don't believe that. I believe that the GOP is better than that.

Any person who reads that indictment and stands by Trump doesn't deserve to serve this country.

Unfortunately for you duchen, that's not for you to decide. Some things are bigger than you or me. This is one of them.

You really can't win. My goodness.

If the DOJ prosecuted Hillary, he was weaponizing the DOJ.

If the DOJ didn't prosecute Hillary, there was no case against Hillary.

There is no scenario and no possibility in your head that Trump simply did the right thing.

Well, we all do that. If I recall correctly from this forum, Trump's word is suddenly gospel the second he starts talking about DeSantis. ;)

But we all make determinations based on our own perspectives and based on the evidence, including the evidence of our eyes and ears.

Unfortunately I think all evidence is to the contrary. I harken back to that moment McCain “corrected” the elderly women during a 2008 town hall.

Can you imagine a Republican having the leadership/courage to do that today? They’d get run out by the mob.

Putin's plan is working. Every since Hillary as SOS said his election was fraudulent he has been determined to undermine the faith in the US election system Trump was the perfect tool to advance that agenda and social media has proven to be a very useful weapon

Ya'll are about to lock up your chief political threat for the Presidency a year and a half before the Presidential election and have the gall to cry about some Republican mob preventing Republicans from condemning this.

And many of you were supporting kidnapping charges against the second biggest political threat.

Sorry Republicans don't exactly have their pom-poms out for you guys.

He actually did the right thing by not prosecuting Hillary Clinton but only because he was most likely advised by the AG at the time (don't recall whether it was still Jeff Sessions or Bill Barr or possibly an acting interim AG) that the government had no case against her.

The dems would like nothing more than for trump to be the nominee. And there is no way this case and the related appeals will be complete by the election

That’s pathetic. And asking as you are trying to draw parallels— the same people who said HRC was disqualified from serving and screamed “lock her up,” are rallying behind Trump. This indictment is worse. By far. Not close. And yet they can’t criticize Trump? People are destroying the GOP right now. Nobody in the middle is going to support anyone who defends this.
