    I'll be keeping an eye on that Duke/Virginia series this weekend. I'm pulling for Duke to go to Virginia and pull out the series win like they did a month or two back. Virginia is one of the best hitting teams in the country with very athletic defenders. Tough team to beat in Omaha.

    Add “Top 5 Public” to your list and the pool of eligibles decreases dramatically… and will almost certainly never include Ar-Kansas.

    Duke strikes first. Seems like a team that can overwhelm you with power on the right day, even if they don't have the overall talent of the host teams.

    Rollins just clinched a trip to the DII championship series, looking to cement their status as the state's 3rd most successful baseball program. ;)

    I don’t think I’ve ever seen an umpire initiated review before. Top 9 and Oregon has no challenges yet but calls for a review on close play at first base.

    Also, I wish they’d make those numbers just a little bigger on Oregon’s jerseys.

    I have seen some. Usually when the lead ump saw it differently from what the other ump called.

    Today could not have gone any better for the Gators with us winning and the other seeded teams losing. Keep on rooting for Duke to win one more so we will play them first if we make it to Omaha.
