But they bought a pair of twins for their bball team who are twitter famous but arent really that hot, I guess at least there are two of them
My wife and I are going into Savannah today. We are doing a mini pub crawl for my birthday. Maybe I'll see one lost Miami fan while I'm there.
With our 47th Natty, we're closing in on.... 49 - North Carolina 50 - LSU 50 - Arkansas 52 - Oklahoma State 53 - Penn State 55 - Texas
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP NOTES AFTER OUTDOOR TRACK WIN: Florida is one of two programs to win at least one national team title in each fully contested season since 2008-09. This is Florida's 26th national title in that span and second of 2022-23. Men's golf closed May winning its fifth NCAA team title. This is the ninth season in that span Florida won two or more national team titles. Gator men's outdoor track & field claims Florida's 47th national team title. Men's outdoor track & field is one of four Gator teams with five or more NCAA team titles – women's tennis (7), men's outdoor t&f (6), men's golf, men's indoor t&f (5). Sixteen Gator sports have won national team titles. That is the nation's fourth highest array of sport titles for a program (and highest east of Mississippi). Florida's 16 leads Southeastern Conference programs (Georgia is second with national titles in 10 NCAA sanctioned sports). Since 2008—09 season, Florida's 26 national titles have come in 12 different sports. Stanford and UCLA also with national titles in 12 different sports in that span.
Of the 47, UF has National Championships in 19 different sports, 20 if you split indoor and outdoor T&F. FSU has 18 in total. That's a better athletic program debate closer. As always. It's Great to Be a Florida Gator.
From the seminoles.com website. As a side note, I'd put an * by the AIAW titles. That's back when you could count all the major college softball teams, less the PAC-10, on your fingers and toes. And make your own mind up on M. Gymnastics. All-Time National Championships National Championships – 18 Football 1993, 1999, 2013 M. Outdoor T&F 2006, 2008 W. Indoor T&F 1985 W. Outdoor T&F 1984 Softball 1981 (AIAW), 1982 (AIAW), 2018 (NCAA) W. Golf 1981 M. Volleyball 1955, 1957 M. Gymnastics 1951, 1952 W. Soccer 2014, 2018, 2021
Lol. Ancient M Volleyball and M Gymnastics is laughable! 12 total if you leave in the ‘80’s softball. Wonder how many teams were competing then?!
No what is laughable is Alabama claiming another half dozen bogus football titles, especially when they lose their bowl game or go 6 - 5 and they still try to claim it. Those people are pathetic with their claims.
I attribute much of the programs national title success to jeremy Foley. This of course is an unpopular position with many Gator fans whom think all other sports should be dropped and all resources allocated to football. I happen to enjoy spring and summer sports and UF does very well in these areas.
