So a key takeaway here from some posters is that since Hillary and Biden were not charged with a crime, Trump is immune from criminal prosecution, regardless of the nature and severity of the alleged crimes.

I guess there is an equal time rule equivalent involving criminal Justice of politicians. In order for a Republican to have been charged with a crime, a democrat must have previously been charged with a crime.

How many hjudges in that district that would have been on the wheel?

What are the odds that she ends up with both of these cases if the draw was truly random?

Any chance that he fired his attorneys as a stall move just to help delay the proceedings?

Can he just keep firing attorneys and delay trial indefinitely?

I never said it was ok but you specifically referenced the Presidential Records Act in the post I was responding to.

That aside, did Bill Barr not investigate Hilary and clear her of numerous of the “crimes” people were chanting “lock her up” for? Some left wing shill he turned out to be, huh? Although I’ve consistently said if she committed crimes, she should face charges, no different than I’ve said about Trump.

And isn’t the investigation into Biden’s documents still ongoing? So let’s see how that may or may not distinguish itself from Trump showing docs to any idiot who will listen, and lying about their existence in the first place.

Meanwhile I notice that not one rightie on here who is calling Trump’s knowingly flaunting classified invasion plans, enemy defense plans and nuclear secrets a partisan witch hunt, or whatever silly moniker de jour that Trump has brain washed y’all into has even bothered to reference that Pence has already been cleared for “doing the same thing Trump did” (which is hardly legally accurate at all), but I understand that dealing in nuance and differing criminal elements is lost upon our resident Trumpies.

That’s not actually true though, unless you can cite the statute and penalty (as of 2009). Also noting that both Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell both said they had the same sort of email arrangement.

As I recall, Obama actually had an executive order demanding use of government servers, so Clinton violated Obama’s executive policies. But that isn’t criminal.

Maybe it’s since been codified into law since that “scandal”? I don’t know. But in the relative time period it wasn’t. It was more just a thing that was highly encouraged or could get someone fired. What WAS required by law was to turn over the govt related emails, which Clinton and her lawyers did. Know who didn’t!? Donald Trump. He actually did the opposite, he stole government records. Highly classified records. Then did several criminal actions to maintain that theft.

The DOJ has prosecutorial discretion. And a history of not prosecuting former high b ranking officials who has classified docs when that person cooperates. Hillary by setting up her own email server was doing exactly what several W. appointees did, including Colin Powell. It wasn't until later in Obama's administration did Obama change the rules. And it wasn't a law, but administration change only.

Hillary also deleted the emails before the investigation. She wasn't required to keep any that weren't related to her position as Secretary of State. Those emails were all forwarded onto an official server and recorded, per the law.

Someone stealing a candy bar accidently from a grocery store because they forgot to ring it up at self checkout is breaking the law. But stores aren't going to push for prosecution, especially if caught, the person goes back and pays for the candy. But a person committing armed robbery and takes thousands of cash and merchandise? Different story. Both broke the law and stole from the store. But only one, if caught, is going to jail.

You keep posting your philosophical gibberish and have never mentioned a single fact in the indictment. Not one. If you can’t read that Indictment and under and the seriousness of the charges, you are a true believer

Did get a kick out of the tweet that it’s typical of Trump scandals in that it’s brought about by little more than stupidity.

Because for all of the liberal talk that Trump had these records to sell to the Chinese, turns out he had them for a much, much dumber reason - to try to impress random people with the fact that he had cool documents.

I know that this is not ground for recusal. I was pointing out the irony. Her rulings will not get her recused. The standard requires extrajudicial bias.

You’re right. The FBI asked all these questions, because nothing she was doing was illegal. They like to bs about stuff like this with former secretaries of state for shits and giggles. And you think she handed over everything she was supposed to. Lol.

The 12 juiciest bits from the FBI's Clinton report

Reading this thread I wish I could bottle up the tears of outr Trumpaloons. I could sell that for big bucks. I only hope that the hard core losers take Clay Higgins calls to take up arms to heart, cause they’ll get slaughtered if they don’t luck out and spend 25 years in prison. We are witnessing one of the best days in American History right now.

The low IQ base can’t change, they literally get stupider every day. What’s needed is a political death cure, and they’re doing it to themselves. They are 25-30% of the population which is enough to muck up the shithole states but capital will completely avoid those states they’ll get poorer and smaller and more irrelevant. The youth of this country will deliver the death blow.

Let’s play a game. You say Biden and Hilary broke the law. Identify the law. Identify the elements of the law broken. Identify the facts that support each element. In particular, identify specific intent if you are drawing a parallel to the charges against Trump. Lay out your position like a real lawyer.

To be clear, “Trump is great at creating unnecessary problems for himself by being an idiot” is in no way a defense of him haha

Whatever helps you sleep at night, but no. Just no. The dude sells anything he can make a buck on water, teddy bears, vodka, efts, straws wine steak and I’m sure I’m missing a bunch of stuff. Stolen top secrets were being marketed day one and he assuredly made copies. I bet a set of Iran invasion plans is in Bonesaw’s desk
