Whelp, I can't argue with that. I drove down to Sarasota from Gainesville a couple of months back and was amazed at how much worse the traffic was. Besides that, people do drive like freaking idiots! One thing people do in Florida, it's against the law out here, is they tailgate you like you're towing them and if that doesn't work they flash their lights. I guess 20 MPH over the speed limit is, well...slow!

I wonder if the 10 is as bad? The drive to Destin and Pensacola used to be pretty wide open-bet that's changed.

And, yes, during the summer Florida is uninhabitable. I'm still not sure how football players handle the heat on the field.

Hopefully the monsoon passes - Gators should be fine in the Swamp Diamond!

Bronx to be exact. Those same people have taken over our lakes in central FL with their jet skis which they operate in the same aggressive manner.

 

The number of relocated people in my neighborhood alone..amazing...most are from NY or NJ...

Lighning fried my Cox Countour box and my blu-ray player. It hit less than 50 feet from my house.

Mine the same but from where you are you might not see the skies to the NW are starting to glow a little orange. Getting larger by the minute. Makes me wonder if these radar estimates will be changing if the rain is losing its grip over NCFL. Holding out hope.
