This really gets wild when Trump finally realizes he can’t get out of it, and starts flipping on everyone who hasn’t flipped on him yet. According to his niece and others who know him well, he’ll even sell Ivanka up the river if he has to.

Watch for the ones who keep defending him vehemently even after the charges are common knowledge and public reporting verifies the majority of it. These are the ones that are involved and are scared poopless of when that viscous canary starts singing.

What was I wrong about? I said you don't know or care what the charges are. You responded with a CNN headline that doesn't say what the charges are.

This doesn't prove what you think it proves.

Don't worry, if there isn't any already, something will be found.

The allegations go far beyond simply mishandling the documents and you know or should know it. I assume that you're trying to draw an analogy between Biden and Mike Pence although their situations with respect to the classified documents in their possession aren't remotely similar to what Trump has alleged to have done.

Not to pick a fight, but to be candid, I had mixed feelings about Trump getting indicted over this. I’m sure many Americans do. Now that I’ve read the indictment, I am absolutely convinced it was necessary because of the efforts of Trump to middle-finger both the law and his duties. He has no care of law, he has no care of authority, he has no care of anything but himself.

The biggest takeaway I get from the indictment is that this was so easily avoidable, BUT FOR TRUMP’S CALLOUS DISREGARD FOR THE RULE OF LAW AND AUTHORITY. Instead, his hubris has caused another national embarrassment, not to mention huge expenditures to stop his nonsense.

I think we can all imagine what he would do if the government didn’t put a stop to his illegal use of our confidential information.

Trump. Did all these things. Pence and Biden did what a lot of other high ranking officials with access to classified docs did. Accidently take them to places where they weren't allowed and/or left them there after they were allowed to have them. And all of them, except Trump, immediately returned all docs and allowed the FBI to conduct an investigation to ensure all docs are returned. Trump? Read the indictment to understand how Trump lied, intentionally hid, and tried destroying the docs.

The DOJ conducted an investigation and yes, found a few small examples of Hillary mishandling about a dozen emails out of 30,000. Also found plenty of proper actions stating that Hillary couldn't respond to an email on the server she was on, but to move the conversation to something more secure. Evidence that Hillary tried to do the right thing. She also fully cooperated with the Feds.

Pence wasn't charged, and rightfully so. Same with Hillary. Neither of them obstructed the investigation like Trump. And both Pence and Hillary tried their best to do the the right thing, but being human, made mistakes. Trump willfully kept docs he knew belongs to NARA, ordered them moved several times to keep them away from the Feds, and lied about having them on legal documents. Had Hillary, Pence, or Biden is proven to have done the same, they too should be indicted on similar charges.

He’ll never flip and he’ll never concede he he will make things up to lie to his base. And then sell memes to “fundraise”, because he is such a victim.

It says the indictment relates to Trump's mishandling of private documents.

If you read the indictment, it repeatedly references Trump's mishandling of classified documents.

If Trump never mishandled classified documents, there would likely be no indictment on this issue.

You were wrong, admit you were wrong.

Destroying the server holding the classified documents seems to be an odd way of cooperating with the Feds. Sounds more like obstruction of justice to me.

    This.

    It’s all about intent.
    >Biden had a few documents, didn’t even know it. No intent, full cooperation.
    >Pence had a few documents, didn’t even know it. No intent, full cooperation.
    >Trump *took* boxes of documents. Knew it. Intentionally misused them. Shared them with several people with no clearance, several from foreign nations. Clear intent, no corporation, full obstruction of document recovery.

Reality Winner took 1 document. Mailed it to a news outlet to expose Russian election interference that was being covered up. Got 5 years. O N E document. Virtuous intent.

Trump took over a dozen boxes. Several were marked the most highly classified that exist. Shared and probably sold many. Clear intent to gain personal benefit from the crimes. He’s in big trouble.

    Yeah, and he sucks. lol.

The integrity of the FBI in the eyes of the public continues to be at an all time low.

Mishandled, lied, obstructed (and used the documents to brag to people). We also have no idea who else saw the highly confidential documents, given that they were spread out in a storeroom for access to anyone looking, or what such people might have done with the documents.

I do recall Trump withholding security funds from Ukraine unless Zelensky announced an investigation against Biden, even if there wasnt anything to investigate, and Trump would do the rest. Even that didn't pan out for Trump
