Love the gerrymandering arguments still. Too funny. It's like that's the new talking point all of a sudden. I guess you guys heard that on MSNBC. Florida is so nuts we led the nation in growth for the first time since 1957. It's like you people live in some weird fantasy world where FL is terrible yet hundreds of thousands of people are coming here every year.

Reading comprehension can be your friend. I made no claims you ascribed to me. Your points address nothing I said.

Gerrymandering isn’t a talking point. Florida is not a super majority Republican state as it’s gerrymandered to be.

I never said Florida was nuts that’s the opposite of what I said. I said the government leaders are nuts the state is mostly balanced.

What is nuts is looking at the population growth and seeing the same trend as always and thinking it’s anything except the beach and weather which hasn’t changed with Desantis.

    Reading comprehension.

So, you don't think not leading the country in population growth rate since 1957 means something? I guess since it would give DeSantis some bit of credit that you can't fathom admitting it because you are so far left. At least you're honest lol. Gerrymandering is a talking point, but you know that and are just playing politics again.

The hatred is emanating from the State government and is percolating down. My guess is that hate crimes will follow, but for now it’s not a positive thing that discrimination is being built into our school systems and into our laws.

What do you call legislation and other government pronouncements that result in teachers not being able to let kids watch a Disney movie because it has a gay character in it?

Sigh . . . tilly. Bluke mentioned LGBTQ. I quoted a source refuting his claim about LGBTQ hate and that source mentioned religion. YOU made an issue of it.

DeSantis was born in 1978. What years of growth are you trying to give him credit for?

I think "despite of" is the more appropriate phrase than "because of."

Anyone honestly answering why FL led the country in growth percentage has to attribute a good portion of the reason to FL being open during covid much more so than most states.

Utah removed the Bible. I dont think its because of "hatred".

There are certain subjects (we can all agree we have different lines) that should not be in front of kids. The more rigid position does not automatically equal hate.

I didn't make "an issue" . I very simply, in one line corrected the article. I did it in several ways, religion being one of them.

    No "issue" was made.

You really think you corrected something using faulty data from 2019? Hint: WRONG. And yes, your religion radar went off and ya couldn't resist jumping on it.

The irony is that almost all of the hate crimes involving religion were perpetrated against Jews (and many of which were likely perpetrated by Christians).

If you dont want me commenting on a specific part of YOUR post, then please let me know in advance. It was literally in your post.

And the 2019 part doesnt help your point. My link was from last month.

Not sure how that's irony. Ots just another case of people using whatever they can to justify their evil.

People do it with the Bible, the Quran, the Constitution, the HOA bylaws etc.

Evil people often find something viewed as good to hide behind.

It's ironic because you often play up Christians as being victims of bigotry.

They often are. Just look at some of the posts on a board like this about Christians.
Imagine if those same comments were made about a race.

No, what is ironic is an antisemite claiming to be a Christian. Jesus was a jew. The Jews were the chosen people in scripture of whom the Messiah would come.

Being an antisemite and a Christian is an oxymoron.

Well when you have people like Pat Robertson and Kenneth Copeland representing your religion there's going to be some negativity directed at your religion. And you're probably going to say they're not representative, but they, and others like them, have huge followings.

Ok? What am I supposed to do about it? That is why I am always here saying the things I say. To counter those people who misrepresent my faith.

It is love because it protects children from being radicalized by activist teachers. Neither the government nor their classroom teacher is your child's mommy or daddy. How and when a child is exposed to these issues is the prerogative of their parents. The state and the activist teacher tread on the role of parents when they think it is their place to decide these things.
