Baseball vs SC, Fri 6/9, ~ 8:30 pm

I think most of the season ticket holders took their option, which gobbles up most of the seats. What was left to go to the general public was gone in the first 20 minutes.

 

Yep. South Carolina was a little too giddy and celebratory when they swept us in Columbia this past April. Thought it was over, and we were going away, South Carolina?

All our fine and wonderful UF brothers and sisters.....let's BRING. THE. NOISE. this weekend (literally and figuratively). We got a team, and this team this year is made of Championship material.

South Carolina......you are coming to North Central Florida, God's Country (IMO). And This...... Is Gator Country.

In us marches Florida, always and forever.

 

I don't gamble, but I wonder if there's somewhere you can bet on the number of rain delays this weekend.

 

Only walkup tickets remain. Get there early cause it's going to be the biggest crowd yet if the weather gives us a break.

 

That might be true but there are a number of resale tickets available at offensively rapacious prices. Shame on those who try to profit from the Gator Nation's great enthusiasm for this outstanding ball club. LOL

 

They were there before the tickets were available to the general public, so a lot of season ticket holders are responsible for the secondary market pricing. We’d like two more tickets, so I’ve been watching the secondary market all week. I guess just because you hold season tickets doesn’t mean you aren’t a scalper, was just saying that these are more than likely Gator fans who own the majority of these tickets and have set the crazy high secondary market prices. There were not many seats left when the all session general public sales started. There were none left when single game seats went on sale. Only general admission.

 

Go Gators, beat that team from South Carolina!!!!

 

This is going to be a tough series against a very good baseball team. I could see any outcome for the series, but I’ll be happy as long as long as we make USC earn it. We’ve been pretty consistent lately and this is a very big stage, so I expect we do.

 

I say let’s beat the brakes off of’em!

 

What are we thinking for weather today? We gonna get this game in? Need to time my drive to Gville accordingly.
