I know this season hasn’t started and we’ve got plenty of time but it really seems we’ve fallen behind in Tampa.
I live in the Tampa area and haven't seen, read or heard anything that supports this..so, yes..I would also like to know and see evidence of how we have fallen behind in Tampa..what facts/ info does the OP have..I am very interested in hearing/ seeing this..
In support of the OP's post, didn't we lose out on a 5 star edge from Tampa last year? Easly I think was his name?
We currently have WR Isaiah Williams from Carrolwood day in Tampa committed to us. An eighth 1/8 of our whole recruiting class so far. Lol
Recruiting season is almost here. Dan is almost done with wakeboard season and will get serious shortly.
Eugene Wilson III and Dijon Johnson are both high 4*s from Tampa in the current 2023 class (the one that is actually in the books). They are our 4th and 5th highest-ranked recruits in the class. How many players should we have from one single city in a state of 22 million people before we would be considered "not behind?"
This is a convo for the 90s. Last year Georgia chose 5 players from their talent rich footprint. Nobody is locking down their state/footprint just for the sake of doing so.
