Likely because they are not including legislation as hate crimes and certainly not legal acts. DeSantis says you should be able to run over a BLM protester that angers and passes legislation to enable it. So not a crime. But much of the legislation is hateful and intended to promote actions that should be hate crimes. There's a reason Proud Boys, Mike Flynn, 1/6 types, Klanned Karenhood etc. feel at home here

Bluke's assertion that "no one in FL hates LGBTQIA" was the contention. Your evidence invalidates his assertion - thanks.

Well, when I said what would you say if tourism and convention numbers increase this year you said "The exact same thing I’m saying today". That sounds like you don't care what the numbers say and only want to go by what is said in the MSM. So yeah, that doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

I said I don’t know if they will go up or down. I’ve said that three times I think, only said that next year will be a better indicator. Regardless of what they do, it won’t be a big swing next year either, but conventions would be the first warning sign probably if there were an issue. It’s like you’re trying to pick a fight over some imaginary grievance in what I said.

FYI - updated in 2023, but the data are from 2019.

Hard to believe that people waste their hard earned money in the Orlando Slantinel! Do you think Bianchi is the only AssClown on their staff.

No, you didn't. ;) And I'm not interested in arguing which state is good or bad, simply point out Bluke's falsehood.

I asked IF the numbers went up would you agree that the policies didn't have an adverse affect? You said this:

    upload_2023-6-8_15-44-47.png

So it seems you are going to say if the numbers go down you will blame it on his policies(could be a cause) but if the numbers go up you won't say it his policies didn't affect the numbers. Got it. Heads you win, tails I lose.

Correct. Any of the reporting mechanisms I've viewed (e.g. FBI) stipulate that the data reporting reliability must be called into question, as states do not necessarily participate fully in the reporting. For example, one data source noted that in 2021 FL had 34 agencies reporting on a bit more than 50% of the state's population. MN otoh had 74 agencies reporting on 100% of the population. IOW - the source @tilly provided is invalid.

Weak as hell. I followed my post up for you since you took me literally. No one believes there is zero hate crimes, racism in any state.
Dude, why are you acting like this?

    From this source - https://cde.ucr.cjis.gov/LATEST/webapp/#/pages/explorer/crime/hate-crime

Since crime is a sociological phenomenon influenced by a variety of factors, the FBI discourages ranking locations or making comparisons as a way of measuring law enforcement effectiveness. Some of this data may not be comparable to previous years because of differing levels of participation over time.

lol, again I only asked to see next years numbers when they encompass his public forays more. That’s about the least controversial approach to the question possible, but would be happy to have a discussion at that point over why if they did go down. Nowhere did I say if they did that is was 100 percent on him. Of course there could be other reasons. Recession, higher airfares, a hurricane hitting south beach etc.
But if you’re that desperate for an argument, find it somewhere else I guess. Or just say “yeah, I bet they still won’t be affected even with the things you raised”. And I will say, “maybe, maybe not, we will see”, and we can move on. It’s really not more complicated than that.

No, just didn't like your response when i asked "IF tourism numbers go up in 2023" then would you say the policies didn't have a noticeable affect on tourism/convention numbers. You didn't say "yes". That was my issue only. Not looking to fight at all, have enough posters that are doing that with me.

If these groups are cancelling their events because of the state's policies, then wouldn't it stand to reason that there will be some groups that say "I like those policies, let me schedule my event in Orlando". I mean since like half the country is deplorable. Maybe we could pick up a tractor and farm implement convention.
