There are more than 18k shooting deaths in the U.S. this year. There's no reason to "yeah but" that. None of this accounts for the thousands of people injured. Imagine how so many lives have been changed.
There were multiple guns at the scene. Sounds like a gun fight. Those killed may have been collateral damage.
Yeah I sent the story to a couple friends in a group text. Not a moment of remorse for the dead. The group is generally light hearted banter and morbid humor because of our Line of work but it was immediately met with.... "Shall not be infringed" end of discussion. Calm down Biden. If it wasn't guns they'd use bombs and there would be more carnage. I don't even think losing family or friends would matter to them....at all
There have not been 270+ mass shootings in America in 2023 and no one would love to hang that on Biden more than I would. You're broadening the definition of a "mass shooting" in order to intentionally skew the data. When you do that, you just reinforce the idea that your side can't be trusted on the 2nd Amendment. In other words, you're not winning over anyone's heart by doing this. You're actually creating more detractors.
That makes sense. I only had time to skim the story, but that's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the headline...probably a fight. Decent parenting would be the best gun control we could ever pass.
