The "issue" was on my "doorstep." I used to live a mile or two from the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas. My experiences living there instilled in me compassion and empathy for the people coming to this country. So you're right, you do look at this issue differently when it's on your doorstep, just not in the way you think.

    Of course I can’t.

So your defense is that he may have been behind it, but we can’t prove it, so it’s all good?

The thing Trump is showing is that if you continually cross the line out of arrogance sooner or later you’ll #-up and get get caught. At a minimum DeSantis is torching his chances in a general so please, MBR, keep it up.

Is he being accused of simply transporting migrants to another state, or is he being accused of something more than that? Let's be honest about the accusations.

If this is about taking them to a place that will take care of them, why not coordinate with people in that place so they are dropped off where there are resources and people prepared to help? Why lie to them? Why mislead them? Why drop them on the side of the road with no notice or warning in a place they don't know?

How would you feel if somebody did that to your mother or sister? Tricked them into getting on a flight and then dropped them on the side of the road somewhere in a place they don't know without any of the help, jobs, or resources they promised. Would you like how those people treated your family?

No, my point is that you can't lock somebody up unless you can prove all elements of the crime beyond a reasonable doubt.

As a debater, no. You're terrible at it. But as someone who voted for Trump twice and who will vote for him again, the whole world is threatened by people like you.

Nope. But it would be great if you stopped making baseless claims about border communities.

Biden administration resumes migrant flights to airport outside NYC

It appears the Biden administration flew underage migrants all over the country. Was that illegal? Do you think those underage migrants knew where they were going?

He is the head of the executive branch of the United States. I suspect he has the explicit power to do so. Not sure how it applies to the Fl governor transporting people out of TX to CA.

Perhaps Newsom should round up a bunch of meth and crack addicts off or the street and bus them to Tallahassee. Or better yet a bus full of drag queens.

    1. That should make no difference regarding my argument. Since you're such an expert on the art of debate, I'm sure you're aware of the ad hominem fallacy. A logical fallacy that involves attacking the person rather than the argument.

    2. I voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. You can lie all you want and I can't stop you, but that doesn't make it any more true.

You "suspect" that the President has the authority to do this, are "not sure" if the Florida Governor has the authority to do this, yet feel strongly that the Florida Governor should suffer criminal consequences for it.

Looks an awful lot like you support law enforcement selectively targeting political opponents to me.
