It's listed on ESPNU, and we will be the home team.

Thinking this morning that this whole long ride could end today. Or the next weekend. Or the next. But unless you're the National Champ, it ends a season in disappointment, and it's ironic but the higher you go, the deeper the disappointment in the fall.

I hope we can all enjoy what we have been given by our team, heck all our teams.

I wonder if Slater starts just to help us settle into the game and give the offense a chance to get cooking early.

I'm thinking about driving up to Gainesville from Ocala to watch the game. What's the ticket situation?

I honestly believe that winning the baseball college world series is the hardest thing to do in sports. There's a degree of luck, plus so many guys have to put it together at the right time and come through in key situations on defense, offense and on the mound for it to happen. Just getting to the CWS is a win for the 8 programs that get there, IMO.

I can’t imagine it’s a sellout. Tough for people to attend in the middle of a workday. You can find tickets for face value on the UF athletic department App.

Slater was my pick as well. He has been throwing really well. Hope he could go 4 innings and the bats put up 5 runs and go from there ;)

I think you start Slater and hope to get 3 then piece it together after that.

Nesbitt was warming up against UCONN also, so maybe he gets an opportunity

I have an extra ticket I can send you. It's in the sun but I'm sure you can find an empty seat in the shade.

The starting time was a major disappointment. Small crowd, lack of excitement etc .. This obviously is what Tech was looking for. Anyway to screw UF the powers to be will find it

At least one other regional game today starts at 6 pm. That gives one or two teams playing in that game an additional 3 hours rest compared to us and TT; doesn’t seem like much but an additional few hours nap would have been nice.

While I think the ESPN announcers were pretty good, one of them said last night, “the Florida bullpen has come through all season for the team.” (or something like that)
    Huh?

Think it was Slater who gave up the last 2 runs in our loss on Saturday.

I'd consider starting Cags with a 3 inning or 50 pitch count whichever comes first. He hasn't pitched since Friday so 3 days of rest and he is such a strong guy.

Nesbitt, Slater, Tejeda, and Johnny All-Staff will have to get it done if Sully doesn't think Cags can give a solid 3 innings safely. I just can't see Sully letting Sproat and Waldrep pitch on 2 days and 1 day of rest.
