Baseball at Texas Tech, Sun 6/4, ~ 7:30 pm

This game feels like Tech in every way right now.

 

Englewood Class of '72 here. Younger brother was The Bolles School Class of '83, and was the complete game pitcher in their State Championship win. Small world, for sure.

 

He was special to me. He and John Morgan helped me through school. I was an athlete, not an academic wizard.

 

May need to bunt to get himself and team started. Whatever it takes to get runners on base is what we need to do… Not the kind of game we want to get behind in.

 

I went back and coached with Coach Mons for 2 years. Left year before that state championship. We were runners-up and I took a baseball position in North Georgia.

 

Refusing to move runners along and manufacture runs is just stupid. You can’t count on the long ball. We’ll get what we deserve it seems

 

I am also disappointed in our scoring, but it should be noted that the other team has the same number of runs.
