Mickey Mantle I could see as a lead off man in his younger days because he was really fast and could steal bases. I don't think he ever was a lead-off man for the Yankees.

He is in a funk. He is a freshman and hasn't ever played a season this long before.

And he did literally knocked out the UConn starter today.

And I think Langford would be a better lead-off man but they pay Sully to fill in the lineup card and not me.

 

Like I said..love Kurland, a friend's son played with him and knows him, says he is a great young man, on and off the field...after reading some posts from those of you that played and know the game much better than I..I understand much better about line ups..I think Lang should bat first, then Rivera, Cags , Kurland..what do you think? I am sure Sully could care less about my line up..lol..just curious as to what others think..as you said..he makes the big $$$$$ and certainly know baseball much better than those of us on a message board
