Can’t throw down and in to this guy

 

They do, but that doesn't make him their best hitter, IMO. The other guy has only played in a little over 1/2 their games with a lot less production than Bazzell.

you never ever pitch to him there. Not with his numbers.

Sometimes you need to let someone else beat you. I would have wasted another one instead of him wasting our season.

 

Can’t pitch to him there. Just can’t. One of the best in all of college baseball and two home runs today.

 

The guy was hot. Don't let him beat you. Unbelievable. We were one decent reliever away from being great this season.

 

So you pull Sproat to bring in a lefty to face him with nobody on in the 7th, but leave the righty in with a runner on in the 8th?

 

This team was only 12-12 in their conference and a dismal 6-10 overall on the road.

 

The at bats haven't helped either

 

It just takes one game and one poor decision to throw a down the middle heater to their best hitter by far.
