Tenneseee’s drag ban ruled unconstitutional

Seems like the law speaks of all exotic dancers and strippers, among drag shows.

Was obviously too broad and vague.

Do you think strippers should be able to perform where minors can view them?

My city has numerous laws preventing women from being topless and men from being bottomless INSIDE a night club closed to minors. I don’t think that’s been ruled unconstitutional.

 

Yes because the police have nothing better to do than arrest women for showing their boobies.

Everyone obviously knows why this unconstitutional law was crafted. They didn't have laws about strippers prior to this? They are just now addressing "strippers" and dude's junk? This is a dishonest argument.

 

I support female nudity if hot. Would make my Riverwalk runs even more enjoyable. OTOH I was at edition (Tampa’s only 5* hotel) late last night and though the women are dressed there’s little left to the imagination - but imagine I did.

What I don't understand is this fixation on allowing men to dress up as women and show off all their junk while doing so? This bill was to protect minors, but even if it oversteps, who the fock cares? It seems to me there are much more worthy hills to die on.

 

It depends. If he’s a Democrat I wouldn’t mind at all. If he’s a Republican I’d probably just point and laugh.

Ohhhh... I get it. You want us to keep it legal so we can laugh and mock them. I hadn't thought of it that way. Maybe we can find a compromise to keep it legal, but ensure minors are never exposed to it. That way we can still laugh and mock men who dress up in drag and try to look/dance like women. I am fully on board now. How dare the Tennessee state legislature take away my privilege of laughing and mocking drag queens!! Fascism at its finest.
