Looks like the Red Raiders threw their #1 guy Friday, so we're likely to get either So RHP Parrish 6.00 era, or RSo RHP Girton 5.82 era. They have quite a few lefties on staff, so it could be Jr LHP Free, 4.35 era. Another tough matchup vs Red Raiders. And.....Florida shall win. And everyone here knows, lives, breathes what? That It Is Great To Be A Florida Gator.
We just need a win. We can get more 'offensive' as we move into the next game. I've yet to set foot in the new ballpark, someday I hope. (But I did manage the spring FB game.) I understand the new Park is pretty outstanding! Go Gators.
Glad to hear in the postgame radio interview that Sully will look at helping the offense by having them put the ball down more and starting some runners. As he said, try and jump start the offense some.
I agree with Sully- gotta jump start the offense. The bats need to come back to life if we are to get where we all think this team should be- playing for a NC. Cags seems to be pressing big time- basically swinging at anything within bat reach and trying to hit tape measure jobs on nearly every swing. His production has dropped off noticeably in the past weeks and the guys at the bottom of the order have become near auto outs. BT bombs in Hoover masked our offensive woes-- it's time to get our mojo back at the plate. Go Gators.
Sully has said that hitting up the middle was the change that made the offense so much better this year. If he thinks that's the way to refresh hitting I'm with him.
I couldn't believe UF had the IFAS grass parking area off of Baseball Way completely blocked off today. I got lucky and found a spot 1 hour after Game 1 started in the main lot when someone left early. If this team has the great success this year that we are hoping for UF will have to do something to improve parking. As more and more people walk across Hull Road at some point someone's going to get hit. I get its never good to plow under orange trees but its time to make changes for the greater good and open up the hundreds of acreage UF has south of Orange Lake off Hwy 318 in northern Marion County for orange tree research.
I haven't been in yet either, had an invitation up to a suite for Sunday's games, but already had commitments, so I declined..maybe if we get thru to Supers, I might get invited again Go Gators!
There is a 50 acre parking lot just northeast of the stadium (in the direction of Lake Alice) that is a short walk. And there is a shuttle service available.
SEC vs. Big 12 Texas Tech beat UF as I recall in either a regional or CWS This will be a terrific game and it should be televised on one of the ESPN channels, not ESPN+.
