Texas Tech pitcher is throwing a no-no with 9 Ks through 5. Glad we won't have to face him- kid knows how to pitch.

 

Yeah - he has a perfect game through 5 (only runner via error), 62 pitches 9 K and 0 BB.

 

Not a perfect game if a runner has reached base.

 

This Mason Molina kid is legit.

Looked him up- how Tech gets a kid from California to go to Lubbock is amazing. For those of you who haven’t had the “pleasure” of visiting Lubbock, it isn’t the end of the world, but it’s definitely right next to it.

And the game is on ESPNU!! The biggest mismatch of the Day and it gets national coverage over so many other better games relegated to ESPN+!! LSU bias big time.

 

Does Tulane have a strong #1? I don't agree with the strategy if not, especially with the dearth of pitching LSU has, but coach has to make those choices and enjoy or suffer the consequences.

 

Tulane beat them earlier this season I believe....plus it's their rival. Right move.
