Someone mentions the disparity in coverage between Biden and Trump, you justify the media's treatment toward's Trump by blaming it on Trump's ego, I correctly point out that the media's coverage of Trump has a lot to with their prejudice against Trump. You opened the door by bringing up why the media treats Trump that way, not me.

I'm not "making the story about the media's prejudice," I'm correcting you for making a misleading statement by omitting the elephant in the room.

You, however, seem to be trying to turn a story about Biden into a story about Trump.

 

You criticized Democrats for complaining about Fox's coverage of Biden.
Then you complained about the media's coverage of Trump.

My only reference to Trump was a direct response to a rightwinger's post about ... Trump.

 

Chevy Chase made a big splash with his impressions of Gerald Ford tripping. Recall that Ford was in his 60s as President and probably the most athletic President ever - starting lineman at Michigan. Everyone thought it was funny to tease Ford. Biden trips way more often, but I haven't seen SNL skits making fun of him - then again, I rarely watch SNL anymore but I suspect such skits would be posted/tweeted/etc. I disagree with Biden's policies, but I certainly hope he remains uninjured - if for no other reason than to save us from Kamala as President.

 

Maybe things have changed in 50 years to where teasing an old man for tripping isn't as funny anymore. This is kinda like wondering why Lenny Bruce wasnt doing vaudeville comedy in the late 60s.

 

I was correctly pointing out that when Democrats do something embarrassing, their PR wing (the mainstream media) as well as many sheep on internet message boards will make the story about the coverage of the Democrats and not about the Democrats. It took all of one reply on this thread for that to happen.

Then you mischaracterized the reason behind the media's coverage of Trump and I corrected you.

And you were being incredibly misleading. I didn't make this about the media. The first one who did was actually on the left. You got in on the action and essentially lied about it and I corrected you.

Now you're suggesting me correcting misleading comments is a hypocrisy of some sort.
