On second thought it’s kind of gay. Like the dudes with a pocket comb in the Grease movie. Most of those guys were flamers. NTTAWWT… Urban dictionary is instructive. Apparently it’s commonly associated with men who have a small penis Urban Dictionary: Pocket knife
Some of us 80's kids actually had the switchblade KNIFE-COMB in one! Between that and our Drakkar cologne, that may have been the most macho period in the history of the country.
Jeez I kind of remember that. LOL I. Have no idea how I got laid back then drowning my self terrible cologne. There was one that had pheromones (supposedly). It was in heavy rotation.
What a stupid meme. People love to think so highly of themselves for doing something completely mundane. Yikes.
I always have mine in my car's center console because of how security is at places now. It sits alongside my tire gauge. That's where it's actually at. I've never seen so many people with low tires driving around. They go well with my advanced computer science degree.
Same as the op. Can remember in HS, coach would take out your knife for da paddle… then put it back. Also have an axe and machete in my truck. Hmm, but not a shovel. Seems short sighted.
This thread is dumb. I know conservatives that can barely use a hammer without crushing their fingers and I know a literal die hard liberal librarian that gutted and remodeled his entire house himself. These broad stereotypes are just ridiculous.
It’s not just this thread it’s the entire forum and the dozen or so who start and pollute every thread with really stupid stuff.
I have guns and knives. Boats are a pain in the ass. I need to find a meme that validates me for this.
Similar story here.. . I had a small pocket knife that I had carried for years. Actually received it as a gift way back in high school. Thought I'd lost it somewhere along the way. Then, probably 7-8 years ago, I found it unexpectedly in the strap pouch of a backpack I hadn't used in years. Apparently let there accidentally after a hiking trip. Unfortunately, at the time of discovery, I was standing in line at an airport security checkpoing, heading onto an international flight. Wasn't happy, but had to turn it in...
I have one in my truck. When I was looking for something to reward some chemical plant operators for their hard work in getting a plant ready for startup, I bought each of the "outside" operators a Leatherman. Then I realized I had to inscribe their names on the tool. Sure enough, a fight almost broke out on day 1 because one operator grabbed a Leatherman from the table that belonged to another operator ("it looked just like mine!"), and I had to tell them to open it up and check the name on it. The inside operators (process computer operators) were jealous because they didn't get a Leatherman, and I reminded them that we spent $100,000 on a new console for their computer system.
