If Christie is denied the nomination, at least he can't order lane closures to jam traffic into DC, like the lane closures into Fort Lee, NJ that Gov. Christie's "staff" ordered, possibly endangering lives, because the Fort Lee mayor had not supported Christie as a candidate for governor. Payback in politics is so wonderful!

However, in a plot twist that confirms that the writers have lost the thread of the source material, he is headed RIGHT BACK IN, with a goofy justification that defies logic.

Apparently, you're lacking a sense of humor regarding the posted photo of Trump and more specifically as long as he's leading in the polls for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination by a large margin he remains a legitimate subject for discussion. And let's not forget his myriad of legal problems. First, there is the indictment in NYC for falsifying records related to his payoff to Stormy Daniels although admittedly that's the weakest case against him and Bragg's decision to pursue him was probably politically motivated. Then there's the civil defamation lawsuits from E. Jean Carroll with one down and one more to go. There's the likely indictment against him for election interference in Georgia, the possible indictment for inciting the January 6 attack on the Capitol and perhaps the strongest case against him involving the mishandling of classified documents including both the actual mishandling of the documents and obstruction of justice for lying to the court regarding the disposition of the documents. As a subject for message board discussion Donald J. Trump is the gift that keeps on giving.

 

I had enough of Christie after I saw him dance on some TV show. Have you seen him dance? It's a sight that still haunts me.

I know it's off-topic but at least there are rational reasons for my obsession with the deranged former president. Certainly makes more sense than the obsession with the formerly cocaine addicted son of the president who admittedly tried to monetize his relationship with his father.
