I’m not exactly blown away at this shocking revelation either.

Makes me a bit more a suspicious of a few obsessed and vocal people who might be reading this.

 

It does make one wonder about those who are the loudest about grooming and vilifying LGBTQ people.

 

It makes me wonder about those who defend the trans people the most.

 

There is nothing wrong with "trans people."

The problem that most people have is trying to manipulate minors into irreversible medical procedures before they are old enough to buy cigarettes.

 

That would be a problem if it happened. I mean, it's possible it has, but no credible evidence that it has. You need a better concocted rationale

 

What specifically are you saying that there is no "credible" evidence of? Do you feel that a 15 year old is capable of giving informed consent for an elective double mastectomy? Are you of the opinion that said 15 year old is legally permitted to buy tobacco products?

That's exactly what I am saying. She's an activist, as shown in the piece, feted by advocacy groups dedicated to falsehood to justify persecution. We'll see what happens in the lawsuit. But even if there is limited merit, of which I am skeptical, that's one.

Forget about whether or not it happened, are you suggesting that gender transitioning with mastectomies at 15 years old should be happening?

Per your Wikipedia link (the facts are out there - you just have to think critically), she was diagnosed at age 9, which she apparently does not take issue with, self-characterizing herself as a "former trans" kid. She was under treatment for nearly 3 years, and direct counseling for two, with her parents, which consented to her surgery, before her surgery. She was apparently under some form of therapy for 6 years

Her lawsuit alleges that she and her parents were not provided with sufficient information regarding "informed consent". Possible, but color me skeptical. We'll see in the lawsuit as it plays out, although it may just settle. Plus Kaiser is a bete noir to the Right, so convenient

I do think that Chloe Cole is being exploited and manipulated by adults for their own reasons. I just don't think it was the medical professionals. She is represented and used by evil people.

She regrets the surgery. In that regard, she is in the vast minority with regret statistics on such surgeries., which are themselves rare. All elective surgeries have regret - I regret the artificial lenses I had inserted in my eyes 3 years ago.

You don't think there is credible evidence that people are manipulating minors into sex-reassignment surgeries, effectively sterilizing them.
