I can answer that question. Simply have 1 day to vote using pencil and paper while showing ID. That's with minimal exceptions for military, elderly and disabled to mail in vote.

Yeah, my critique is not "talking about DeSantis." My critique is the hysteria from threads when talking about things like this. For example:

100-year-old widow of WWII veteran compares Florida book bans to Nazi Germany

I care a lot more about the people using her as pawns for political advantage against the boogeyman of the moment, which will without a doubt change two seconds from now.

Why can't you vote with a pencil?

    Literally Jim Crow guys.

Possibly because pencil can be easily erased?

It would actually make more sense to want to vote with crayons. That might actually be more fitting in some cases, but i think we’ll stick with black ink.

DeSantis saying he 'will destroy leftism in this country' is one of the creepiest things he's said yet. But that is his mindset. That you have some conservatives calling him out for it is encouraging. But that you also have so many applauding it, including on this board, is disturbing.

I believe this is perhaps the biggest negative of Trump and now DeSantis. Their core aim seems to be to win a tribal battle over other citizens of this country. Some cells in our body appear to operate with a similar aim. Doctors call them “cancer”.

It's a thread about DeSantis, particularly what some consider his restrictions of freedom. Books being removed from school libraries is a big part of that.
Posting a story with someone's opinion about that hardly seems obsessive or deranged. It's the subject the thread is about.

Everyone should be afforded the ability to vote. There is nothing wrong with mail in voting on a mass scale. You can't prove any type of fraud so don't go there. It's safe and EASY. There is nothing wrong with extended voting hours either. Your post sounds like the other Republicans trying to LIMIT voting. Hard pass. Anti-American crap. Unpopular outside of the 30% of of election deniers. Another loser at the polls. Let's make it harder for people to vote but only in urban areas. Weird. It's another loser.

I mean, pretty easy to do when the Stalin-Hitler pact and McCarthy already did it over a half-century ago. I assume he just means no gay stuff, and more white people in commercials, thats all leftism is to them now.

Her statements evidence significantly more awareness regarding the issue than yours.

Coming from the guy who had his mind made up on the issue before he heard either of our opinions.

You just sided with the person who agrees with you. Want a cookie?

You can post about the issue in the thread AND be both obsessive and deranged. Many here do a great job of demonstrating that.

not only that but Democrats have won the popular vote how many years now? So he's saying he's gonna win a tribal battle over the majority. Scary stuff
