He pitched on Sunday on 3 days rest and threw 127 pitches. He does have a chance to get drafted this year so has some talent. This is best hitting team FAMU has had in last 30 years. They would have beaten fsu 3 or 4 times out of 10 games this year.

 

Seems like a low estimate....

Waldrep: 24.2 IP, 4.01 ERA, 1.54 WHIP
Caglianone: 23 IP, 5.09 ERA, 1.43 WHIP

Last 3 home games (SEC-only):

Sproat: 20 IP, 2.25 ERA, 0.85 WHIP
Waldrep: 12.2 IP, 3.55 ERA, 1.34 WHIP (includes Vandy game with only 1 IP)

Best-case scenario, of course is we jump on FAMU like we did against Manhattan (2011), and whomever starts only throws 3 or 4 innings. It might take more than 16-0 after the third this year, though. Whitson (shout out to LOFC) threw <50 pitches and was taken out of the game. Logan Shore threw < 60 against FAMU in 2015. Sufficiently explosive bats don't come around all that much in our Tournament openers, I suppose we're due for another episode.

Well Shouppe learned well at the knee of #11......kid threw 105 pitches on Wed and comes back and throws 127 on Sunday.

We aren't talking about top pro prospects however. These kids want to win. Shouppe has actually done a great job with what he has to work with.

 

All kids want to win, I'm sure Sproat would ask to do the same thing. Who knows what the kid wants to do in the future, but this is still too much on the arm
