Yeah, I'm glad I'm, not on the team. I would be skipping ahead.

 

Not the same stakes but a funny story where a teammate had a major brain fart that costs us a game.

Intramural bball playoffs at UF and we are up three with the ball and seconds remaining in regulation. We are passing the ball around to run out the clock and one of our players gets the ball on the baseline with about four seconds to go for an open 15 foot shot AND HE TAKES IT AND MISSES. The other team was able to launch a buzzer beater three that went in and we lost in OT.

One of my teammates said after the game "Well, we lost a heart breaker but we will always have this memory to kid (name redacted) about forever."

The sad thing is that (name redacted) to this day claims he took a good shot.

 

Lol , they just don’t get it so they ?

 

We get relegated to plus? And not even SEC plus!!! We are the 2 seed after all at least give us something that we can watch without an extra subscription!

 

ESPN plus much easier to figure out to watch than sec plus.

 

That may be, but I’m in the same boat as Iowa, where at least SEC+ is included in my current subscriptions.

 

To each there own lol

2 clicks on the ESPN page and I am watching an SEC + event.

For ESPN + I have to subscribe and then find the event etc. SEC + comes with my Dish account.

There just aren't enough events I care about to keep an ESPN+ subscription all the time.

Even more interesting is the greatest percentage of CWS winners are number 2 seeds tied with number 3 seeds. They are three times more likely to win it all then number 1 or number 4 seeds.

Just FYI, Texas Tech scored one in the first and leads UConn 1-0 through 3 innings.

 

UConn #2 SP out for weekend w/ mono.

Not going well for Army 10-0 in 2nd

 

Tech is disciplined at the plate, doesn’t try to hit a home run every swing. Pitcher throws strikes.

We better be focused this weekend.
