If we play Gator baseball every thing will take care of itself ! It’s fun projecting , but it comes down to whipping the guys in front of you!

 

Indiana State with their lousy record against the top 50 is the only team that surprises me. Last I looked, they were 2-9 against the RPI top 50.

 

So, who do we play and when?

 

Monday at Noon on ESPN2 all will be revealed.

Campbell won their conference championship, produced a 9-5 record against the RPI top 50, and split with Coastal Carolina.

I'd have taken a flyer on Oregon who beat Stanford 2 out of 3 in the regular season and won the PAC 12 tourney before taking Indiana State as a host.

 

JMO, the PAC 12 is being disrespected too much this year. There are always good teams in the PAC 12 and on the left coast.

 

They will get 4 or 5 in,,but no one else remotely close to qualifying to host.

Next highest RPi was Org at 34, Wash 36, OSU 37

 

Hope the committee puts Oregon State in with Indiana State.

 

99% chance vols go there,, that would be a tough one w/ OSU as 3.

 

Some mystery gone:

 

Guys I went all up and down the bracket now that it was released and can’t find the Holes. What am I missing here?

 

You've got to play them one game at a time.

Except in Spring trraining with split squads.

Another, more prosaic reason that these other seeds might exceed the success of the #1 seed is that there are many more of them. There’s only one #1 seed, but there are 15 other seeded teams and another 48 unseeded teams. Given those numbers, I’d expect that some lower/non seeded teams would have success just by random chance.
