Maybe people would be more inclined to listen to you if you would admit that lockdowns, school closures and masks were useless. MAYBE if you did that people would take what you say seriously. But we know you are too proud to admit you were wrong.

I don't care if sheep cannot understand data and and cannot understand the depths of their own ignorance. I am not addressing the people who believe in made up data, cling to a paper they found from the early days of the pandemic on a pre-print server or people insist on extrapolating a single data point to the entire world population on both sides of this argument.

What people have grown tired of is the ignorance and lies and trying to argue with that. We are moving forward with the way science always moves forward. Learning in small, evolutionary increases and having meaningful discussions about how that continues to change our understanding (or not). We do not wave fake data in the air and publish works of fantasy that cost lives like the low characters on the right like Lapado. It is people like him that anyone with a functioning brain cell has never taken seriously.

Is this your way of saying you were wrong? Take a lap. You look incredibly dumb by not admitting that lockdowns, school closures, masks and vaxxing young healthy kids was stupid. But hey, I guess some people would rather look stupid than admit they were wrong LOL.

This thread gets much easier to read with a few selective "ignores".

Mark 2020 as the year the world fell in line with Chinese Communist Party’s strategy of hiding from a theoretical submicroscopic nanoparticle.

Huge study in JAMA Pediatrics giving us REAL data (as opposed to people like Lapado making stuff up) showing the safety of the Pfizer/BioNTecH BTN162b2 COVID vaccine. In a study of over 3 million records of children between 5-17 years for 13 different safety signals. Only myocarditis and pericarditis were the only signals observed. However, incidences of myocarditis or pericarditis was incredibly low at 39.4 caes per million and in the age group between 5-12 years old ZERO cases.

Safety of the BNT162b2 COVID-19 Vaccine in Children Aged 5 to 17 Years

So that would be 1 in about 12,500 for 12-17? While that is low and would not prevent me from getting a kid a vaccine, it isn’t a really low in terms of a significant side effect. I wonder if a lower dose vaccine may be more appropriate for older teens? I think the dosage for less than 12 is about 1/3 of the over 12, which is the adult dose.

    A couple of things.

    1. 95+% of cases of myocarditis/pericarditis resolve on their own within 24-48 hours.
    2. Dutch researchers are completing a large study where they spaced out the original 2 doses to 6 months for teen age boys. Early read outs showed 0 cases of Myocarditis in the experimental group while the control group had 2. So yes, people are looking at more time between shots.
    3. Dosages have never been optimized, even for adults, so there is plenty of room for continued work in that area as well.

Curious how they diagnosed myocarditis/pericarditis in such a short lived period of symptoms.
Most people have symptoms for a few days before they even seek evaluation.
If it only lasted 1-2 days I would think most would not even get seen.

I do not know how one identified myocarditis (which test is necessary), but as these were study participants and this was a signal the researchers were looking for, I believe that all participants were checked monthly, in addition to use of all medical records. So, I am guessing if a child had mild myocarditis and resolved itself without a complaint, then it is not recorded in the study. It is also not considered a health signal as a result.

So basically, what we’ve know all along: that the vaccine is extremely safe for all age groups, children included, and you’re much more likely to get myocarditis from actual Covid than the vaccine. I mean, I hate to say I told you so to Q and the rest of the Ladapo slurping anti-vaxers in here, but we told you so.

Yes, but unlike Lapado, Atlas and the other arse-clowns, real scientists requires data to continue to learn, evolve and confirm/disprove hypotheses. This will not be the last safety study, will not be the last evaluation of long term health impacts or even the last time someone studies the effectiveness in exacting detail of these vaccines.

The mRNA vaccines are modern miracles. They were developed fast, have been more wildly effective than any previous vaccine in history. Yet, they are not perfect and since they provoke strong initial immune reactions in people (by design) people will continue to study that impact and learn ways to mitigate some of the more severe impacts in the future.

It is how science has always worked, it has just never been done on a world stage, in a 24-7 news cycle and across near real-time digital media.

As someone who works in the medical field for a living, well stayed, and anyone who has ever taken any type of basic science course understands this, but way too many people out there immune to facts unfortunately.

Such a stupid take. The shot is ineffective. So you can guarantee risk or live life. If you are healthy there is no reason to take the shot. You don’t take unnecessary drugs. Especially when you do not need them. Especially when they are new with risk factors and no no know long term risk factors. Especially when they do not even protect you from getting the disease. Especially when you have almost certainly had the disease shot or no shot. And probably twice.

For goodness sakes some of you LOL!!!

    So the data is weak.

In my experience people with myocarditis and pericarditis have symptoms for weeks (if they are young and healthy).
I can’t imagine they had data that showed it lasted 1-2 days. Just doesn’t fit the condition.
