I was actually talking about their pitcher but Cags can easily throw 6 walks as well. If Cags has command of his pitches today like his 2 previous starts you have to like our odds of advancing.
You want to win everytime you step between the lines but if TAM beats Arky, #2 seed is ours. Still- let's get after 'em- five straight wins against a quality team is tough to do but this team has what it takes. A solid 6 innings from Cags and a better approach at the plate against a freshman who appears to be a breaking ball type and we may just find ourselves playing for the SECT championship. At this point, we might as well go for it- but without taxing your pitchers and no injuries guys.
Weird season, playing Vandy 5 times and never LSU and maybe never Ark. Reminds me of the old days when we got Miami and/or fsu in a regional every year after playing them 3 in the regular season. I like new blood.
Yeah, wouldn't complain about getting home and resting up like LSU and maybe Arky vs another hotel night and another hot grinding game. 2 seed is perfect
