Same thing they do in WCWS.. really wish theyd do it in CWS also.

 

5th inning same score—Hogs just left the bases loaded without scoring.

 

Looks like TA&M might have a chance here since Arky SP only went 3 and a third. All about what each team has left in the bull pen now and which bats get hot.

 

Yea, never liked this format. Either reduce the # of teams invited or make it single elimination and invite everybody. Seems kind of arbitrary that the bottom 2 are excluded. Always want to win especially now that we are this far, but not that invested in this tourney typically.

 

Have you seen the Pac tourney format? They take 9 of the 11 for three 3 team pools. 4th team to advance is the best remaining record w/ the highest seed. lol

 

Arkansas seems to be mounting a comeback in the 9th, now 5-4 TAMU. 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd.

Those last two Arky batters looked like they were ready just to go home.

Down by only 1, RISP, only one out left......and zero bat discipline.

Serious question: Did any of A&M's outfielders pitch in high school?

 

No idea, but would guess about 90% of every SEC roster pitched at least some in HS.
