And Breitbart. Although way off-topic, I still remember Brietbart's headline from several years ago (paraphrasing) "Illegal Alien arrested for starting wildfire that resulted in multiple fatalities." The only problem with Brietbart's story was that the guy wasn't an illegal alien he was a homeless American citizen with an Hispanic surmame, he was charged with starting a very small fire in a county park to keep warm not the wildfire and was released on his own recognizance.

It doesn't look like this is Breitbart's fault, just ridiculous questions from Rasmussen. Hard to believe they did that.

This thread should be about lack of trust in Brietbart and Rasmussen not the FBI.

You don’t crack me up. You actually pull sympathy from me since you are too intelligent to be as gullible as you are. No one said completely innocent. What was stated that none of the indictments actually found a crime that was alleged. The indictments were a result of findings in the investigation itself. As we all know, the government NEVER admits that they were wrong and shouldn’t even have been investigating. So they have to find something. And people like you lap it up like free beer at a football game. If republicans had done this to democrats something tells me that you would be singing a much different tune.

But that happens a lot ... not every investigation finds enough evidence to charge the target with the suspected crime, but that doesn't mean the investigation was illegal.

What do you mean "if"? Hillary's email investigation originated from a partisan, politically motivated House investigation, was widely publicized during the campaign, and in the end, found nothing criminal... How is that different?

Yes, it does happen a lot. I’ve been involved in one. It ain’t no fun if you know what I mean. Government investigators can make loan sharks look ethical.

The issue here is that FBI and DOJ leadership knew or damn sure would have bothered to lift a finger to verify that the origins of THIS allegation were questionable at best, and even that is quite a reach. It was an investigation that never should have even made it to Comey’s office building, much less his office, much less his desk.

You need to own that and stop hiding behind the 34 bogus indictments you like to hide behind.

Well they actually found plenty of evidence... Flynn/Page meeting with Russians, and lying about it ... The Trump family meeting with Russian agents in Trump tower ... Manafort giving internal polling to Russian agents... ... Trump literally asking Russia to hack Hillary ...they just couldn't prove it was a conspiracy that went all the way to Trump, probably in part due to his associates lying about it, which is what they were mostly convicted of.

While I will give you that all off that is incredibly stupid it was not criminal. It wasn’t a crime, even in Democrat eyes to meet with or deal with the Russians. Remember, in 2016 we were only four years removed from this gem that was supposed to prove that the Russians were our friends.

Do I need to note to you that by 2016 the Cold War had been over by 24 years by Obama’s calendar.

    And please let’s not forget this gem as well;

Funny how the democrats minimized Russia until they became more useful as an adversary.

Yes, the meetings were probably not criminal by themselves. The FBI investigation was to see if these were all just some weird unrelated coincidence, that Trump's inner circle couldn't toss a stone without hitting a Russian, of if there was a criminal conspiracy to use a foreign power to sway the election. They couldn't prove that, but in light of what they knew and what they uncovered, I can't see how anyone can say the investigation wasn't warranted.

Well you will never admit the obvious but I will take your first sentence as progress. We do need to work on your follow on statements though.

Trump is who he is. He does and says a lot of dumbass things that are foolish and hurt him politically. But there was no crime here and the DOJ knew it.

Well, first off, let me remind you the DOJ was controlled by Trump appointees ... it's not like Hillary called for this investigation. Secondly, how would the DOJ know "there was no crime" without an investigation? And Third, Trump/Russia was investigated by the Republican Senate ... who concluded, among other things ...

Trump campaign, Russia had extensive contacts...

A Key contact was labeled as Russian intelligence officer...

Manafort actively tried to hide and discredit evidence of Russian election interference ...

“Taken as a whole, Manafort’s high level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik and associates of Oleg Deripaska, represented a grave counterintelligence threat,” the report states.

That was Trump's campagin manager, in case you forgot ... but yeah ... nothing to see here ... no need to investigate. ...

Speaking of Trump and Manafort let's not forget this:
Trump pardons Paul Manafort, Roger Stone and Charles Kushner

And in case anyone may have forgotten the one plank in the 2016 Republican National platform that the Trump campaign overruled was the provision calling for lethal aid to Ukraine.
Trump, Deferring To Putin, Deleted GOP Platform's Call To Supply Ukraine With Lethal Defensive Weapons

Trump campaign didn’t enlist the Russians help. Mueller says in his report the Trump campaign actually went out of their way to reject Russian help. Everything else is just noise. Mueller would not have concluded that in his report if the 30 minute meeting at Trump Tower where they told that one guy to get lost meant anything.

Of course, you already know this unless you live under a boulder. There is a sucker born every minute. So of course there are ones who still let the machine lie to them after Mueller and his team of vindictive Democrats already told us there was no collusion.

Borrowing from an old GEICO commercial, using Google to do research is so easy even a caveman (or for that matter an elementary school student) can do it. Just because you apparently have difficulty doing simple research online doesn't mean that others who have that capability are AI bots.

Just one question are you disputing that prior to his employment as Trump's campaign chairman Manafort had been employed as a consultant to a pro-Russian Ukrainian receiving $12.7 million in fees, that the plank in the Republican platform calling for lethal aid to Ukraine wasn't removed most likely at Manafort's request and that Manafort wasn't pardoned by Trump? Just asking.

The Mueller report says no such thing. Feel free to post a link not from the likes of Gateway Pundit backing that up.

I seem to remember someone going on camera saying, "Russia, please find Hillary's 30k emails." Who was that again?

The Trump campaign didn't enlist Russian help. Seems that they actually tried but never directly received anything of value.
Trump admits son met Russian for information on opponent

FYI: Since you're apparently obsessed with ChatGPT, it took me about 15 seconds to obtain the link using Google.
