Running or Passing?

    per Dooley...Trevor Etienne and Montrell Johnson rushed for 1,560 yards and 16 TDs a year ago and now the room has been bolstered with a transfer and a freshman. I don’t understand why this staff doesn’t throw the ball to the running backs more often (less than two catches by running backs per game), but this is the strength of the team

    AR was pretty bad on short passes.

    If there's a choice, passing. In practice you have to maximize the talent of the team and we've got at least two very good backs that need to get utilized whether that's via handoff or reception.

    We didn’t have much passing to rb and tight ends but I did that had more to do with AR. Etienne lined up at wr several plays tge first couple games so I assume he can catch. Maybe Mertz is more apt to target them.

    Wisconsin running backs weren't utilized in the passing game much either
