TCU is middle of the pack Big 12 (with only 9 teams participating in baseball… Midwest Math). 11-10 in conference, 30-21 overall. Perhaps those wins weren’t as impressive as our saFety School University friends would have us believe.
I mean, what do you mean by "out?" Sure, they may have not only clinched ineligibility for the NCAA Tournament at-large selection; they may have already clinched not finishing high enough to make it to the ACC Tournament where over 85% of the teams from the conference are selected; they may have even already clinched a last place finish in the ACC being the only team in the conference to finish with a single-digit win total in conference play (only the 12th time this has been accomplished since the ACC expanded to 14 teams). But there is more that they can play for. Since the conference expanded to 14 teams, only 2 teams have finished with fewer than 8 conference wins (Boston College and Virginia Tech)...only 3 with fewer than 9 conference wins (add Pittsburgh)...so they still have the potential to join some fairly exclusive groups. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
Are you saying they can not win another national title this year? But they have a chance for the bottom 10?
Holes finished their season with a win for the first time ever. They dog-piled in Louisville. Too bad they’ve never dog-piled in Omaha.
I am a UF grad, 67 years old and remember FSU losing in the finals of the CWS when I was a kid. So glad we have one and they are not even close. Assume they will have a busy off-season with roster rebuild. Go Gators and just a shout out to former coach Jay Bergman who used to drive an orange and blue car.
How amateurish!! The only time you should dog-pile is maybe a Super Regional win and the final night on Omaha!
It’a going to be at least 7 years (2017-2024) of the Gators have one and they don’t. If Sully manages to win his second before they win their first………..
FSU badly needs to upgrade their hitting/pitching. Per Perfect Game their incoming class is ranked 13th. Gators are 6th.
