Got any evidence the threats came from Christians?

Walmart builds stores in neighborhoods where Target doesn’t. But if you go to either in the more affluent areas of town the only major difference in the typical shopper is the age.

No. Your observation is right. The perception is from snobby shoppers that think Target is actually better and thus avoid walmart.

Your perspective is 100% true. I just think its because of the clientele being convinced Target is better.

I'm guilty. I will buy deodorant at Target to avoid the craziness of walmart.

You are incorrect about stores sell stuff to make money. At least on a specific item.

Its very common for a store/buyer)marketing dept to sell and promote items that won't sell well because the imagery and optics has a benefit. So ues its to make money, but not on that item specifically.

Nothing could be more distinguishing between the left and right than the things they’re outraged by.

The left gets outraged over the destruction of the environment, ripping babies from the arms of immigrant parents, and trashing the Capital Building. The right gets outraged by Hunter’s laptop, drag queen story hour, and swimsuits.

    Ooooooookay then.

All a matter of perspective though. The right will say they get outraged by things like babies being murdered and illegal immigrant gangs killing people while the left gets outraged by people who won't use their preferred pronouns. We all want to see ourselves as the good guys.

Are you saying target is not offering “tuck friendly”, bathing suits to children? I have video evidence to the contrary.

Wal-mart used to be the only game in town in rural America (and lots of resentment about their Supercenters” destroying many mom and pop shops and jobs in the area). That’s probably still true. That’s the one area Wal-Mart likely builds that Target wouldn’t, they’ll go more rural.

Not sure in the suburbs this would mean much though. I think Wal-mart definitely demands more central and high traffic areas where they stand alone. Whereas Target seems to aim to be an anchor in high end shopping centers much more. But in suburbia, you often see such shopping centers just a few miles from a Wal-mart. So the real estate isn’t all that distinct.

It sounds like you give at least one s* about it. Why is it gross? People are understandably concerned about trans people feeling the need to have surgeries as part of transitioning. First I've heard of this item of clothing, but it's not surprising that a trans woman who hasn't had surgery (and many never do) would want to have a wardrobe solution. Then we're going to mock them for that, too? You've sounded reasonable on these topics before by focusing on something like sports. Feel like we're losing you here, my friend!

The difference is the things that outrage the left is real while the right’s outrage is imaginary.

    I think that's true everywhere. :D

I don't care, I'll go to Walmart for the cheaper stuff.

I think it's really as simple as a lot of people "feel better" when they shop at Target.

I personally "feel better" when I have more money in my wallet. :D

Jussie Smollett says "hello." As does pretty much every politically convenient race and sex crime hoax ever .

    "Misgendering" someone.

People saying mean things decades ago.

Christians being Christians in public school.

Pretty much any conservative speaker at a public university.

Just a complete clown post, JJ. You're really outdoing yourself.

But ultimately the purpose is to make money.

All the themed crap regardless of what “theme” it is, is just junk that ends up in a landfill. Probably super low cost with crazy margins, they’ll sell some and waste or clearance the rest and not care. But i suspect it makes money in totality or they wouldn’t bother. These are not “loss leaders” that drive traffic. It’s impulse buy stuff at the front of the store with super cheap COGS.
