Traveling in Croatia and logged in this morning to read Gator Gal's thread. I always start at the beginning and read the paly by play and associated teeth gnashing or jubilation. Quite the game. Thanks to Gal for her continued excellence.

 

It can be a double edge sword……take a strike to try and elevate the pitchers pitch count and then put yourself in a hole if the pitcher has great command OR be aggressive and let the chips fall as they may. Their pitchers had great command last night so I think they needed to be much more aggressive.

I was screaming at my TV for sure, but watching the replays, not sure he gets to it even if he played it right.

 

The simple truth:

Don't give up on the Gators until the last out is recorded or the clock shows zero!

It was appropriate watching the pitch clock count down to zero as BT's ball went over. Basically a buzzer-beater.
