Actually his reference to Kim Jung Un as his "friend" is not crazy, it's just honesty (Trump's other craziness aside). He told us while he was president that they "fell in love," just like he loves Vladimir Putin. It's not insanity, it's just his known love for autocrats, which is exactly what he wants to be. It's the American people who are crazy if they put him back in the White House.

There was a Daily Mail headline story that Steve Bannon called "Rob" DeSantis a weasel. Trump picked it up and ran with it.
That’s because everyone outside of Florida knows what a joke the guy is, and he simply doesn’t appeal to the masses like his weirdo cult of followers in Florida who thinks everything he touches turns to gold, does.

I didnt think Biden or Meatball would run either. I assumed Pete/Kamala/Newsome would have a politely uninspiring primary with the winner beating out a frighteningly destructive MAGA nation Trump.
The DeSantis War Room account put out a video of DeSantis and Musk clips over DeSantis' voice. It was strange. My theory is that DeSantis is trying to align himself with Musk partly because they're both smart guys who are socially awkward - and possibly on the spectrum. I think DeSantis maybe sees Musk as someone who people still view as cool and likeable despite not having the natural people skills than many leaders have. MAGA was out in full force last night. I don't know if many of them are bots or they're just that much more motivated and online. They were all over Twitter last night with their memes mocking DeSantis. It just seems so lopsided based upon what I see. DeSantis is trying to talk about policy, and the MAGA people are laughing and throwing stuff. It's such an odd contrast.
