    That's a good analogy.

I agree. But thats do to perception. Target sells cheap crap too. People at Target avoid walmart because Target has convinced us they have better merchandise. Dial soap is dial soap.

Agree. Thats sort of my point. Both stores are similar in products.

The WD/Publix comp goes way back to my childhood too.

Publix has its own plaza. My WD is wedges between the plasma center, laundromat and payday loans. Possibly a weed place next to Tatooz

Honestly is there so much demand for women’s suits for trans women to tuck their junk that it warrants a product line and we campaign?

Publix definitely seems nicer than Winn-Dixie. Not as much difference than Target vs. Wal-Mart, but notable nonetheless. Wal-Mart is a damned zoo by comparison. Target definitely marketed better to younger and hip people and kept their stores more clean and organized. On the flip side I’m sure Wal-mart crushes them in traffic metrics. As I said, it’s a zoo.

    Thank goodness for online shopping.

Ehh? You think I’m just perceiving that the shoppers are way creepier in Walmart? Again it’s anecdotal per my experience, but I believe it to be a valid observation.

As to groceries Target is materially more expensive than Walmart. The typical target customer is middle class-upper middle class. The Walmart customer is working class (and non working class).

For groceries I go to Walmart pickup. That way don’t have to go in store and get lower prices.

I seriously doubt dude-women not having the ability to tuck their junk in their bikini is a customer segment that moves the needle. This is marketing and signaling to try to make them more trendy and hip to appeal to younger customers. It’s kind of ridiculous and frankly gross. But at the same time I could give two shits and it doesn’t affect my decision to shop there (I rarely do). However if I see actual tucking going on in the womens clothing section (which begs the question as to why I’m hanging out there ) then I’m out.

Pretty sure stores sell stuff to make money. It’s pride month, so they put out that stuff to sell it because people will buy it. Just like they put the Halloween stuff out around Halloween. Which by the way is also satanic but doesn’t seem to ruffle the same feathers anymore.

If I were going to start a religion and have commandments, one on them would be “thou shalt not tuck your dude junk in women’s swimsuits”. I mean, civilized people have to have some limits and boundaries.

There are both a Target and a Walmart in adjacent spots in the shopping center across the street. When I absolutely must have some sort of commodity I begrudgingly go to Target. When that thing is only at Walmart I figure out a way that I do not in fact absolutely need it.

Not the quality of people per se, just the mayhem of Walmart.

It’s more civilized to not tuck in a women’s swimsuit? Ok, Emily Post.

Pick up a junk tucking one piece while you’re there.

Three Targets have closed due to bomb threats over the past several days, and some stores have had threats against the lives of their employees.

You really have to shake your head at "Christian Love".
