The nice thing about playing Bama is there will be fans in the stands! They looked pretty good last night, so we'll see what the strategy is. Go Gators! It will be interesting to see how Sully aligns his SP. Bama is playing solid ball the last month so we need to be on our game tonight.
Here’s to good Gators baseball and hoping for the same strike zone for both teams in Hoover, Al vs Bama.
SEC Tourn like a mini CWS. Need all pitchers to to be ready. All hands on deck with next man up mentality. SEC Tourn, is, optimistically, great prep for CWS, where all pitchers are going to have to go. Regionals and Supers much more like a weekend series. Today is a great day to be A Florida Gator!!!
Given that Bama is playing much better down the stretch, I'd like to see Waldrep but would not be surprised if Slater gets the nod and Waldrep pitches tomorrow on full week's rest. Winning is contagious so let's keep it up.
I think this is great experience for the team in preparation for the regionals and then the CWS... As always...Great to be a Florida Gator!
Last time we faced them the one game we lost was when Waldrep started. Hopefully Hurston feels like redemption. My guess for Bama starter would be Holmen.
Probably will start a little later than 5:30. At 4:30 PM Texas A&M is leading Arkansas 4-1 going to the 7th.
Hoover will need more time to let in all the SEC home office dignitaries from Birmingham that are Bama fans and expect a free ride to watch their team.
and once again officials try to shoehorn games in a certain time frame, and yet they wonder why teams play past midnight.
