I didn't read that article, but I have read enough of the censorship claims that I am sure this is no different than all the other fake calls!!

 

I am all for the privatization of all education with lower ROIs that don't teach employable skills. I'm not against people and their intellectual pursuits, but I fail to understand why the state has to be involved in that.

The NAACP travel advisory is somewhat of political stunt. That being said the DeSantis move towards censorship is real. As far as the Chairman of the NAACP is concerned and although it's almost like tilting at windmills given DeSantis and rubber stamp gerrymandered legislature, the political culture of a state is best changed from within.

Interestingly, when the Dems tried extreme gerrymandering in NY and Maryland they were slapped down by the courts. In the NY Court of Appeals (the State's highest court) upheld the extreme gerrymandering that the Dems tried there is good chance that the Republicans may not have ended up with their House majority and that we wouldn't have had George Santos to kick around.
