It’s also why I find myself being so defensive of our coaches, especially in year 1. I wonder how much the angry coach-bashing affects the complicated decisions in kids minds where they want to commit - and stay committed

I hear you but there's difference for wishing ill on a kid and criticizing a kid. But that's the thing, 5 people will say something negative and people tend to focus on that rather than the 100 people who said positive things
