The article is behind a paywall but I’ve always asked the question as to why those far-right groups haven’t been declared terrorist organizations by homeland security and/or the Justice Department. If they’re behind the attacks then they must be terrorist groups.

 

For those claiming (correctly, for now) that illegal immigrants can't vote, rest assured the left will be pushing an amnesty bill with voting rights attached in the not too distant future. It's only a matter of time.

 

Well it has been proposed for years, so the train of logic is not too far off.

My favorite is when groups go into nursing homes and “help” residents who don’t even know the year we are in vote

 

a. dead people can't vote, regardless of political affiliations.

b. the number of votes submitted on behalf of the recently deceased is mice nuts and not limited to one party or the other. I think only a politically indoctrinated person would resort to such a sweeping generalization as a gotcha. As such...

c. "If dead republicans can vote, anyone can" is an equally truthful (not) statement, right? As such, how productive can the original statement actually be?

d. "dead people" voter fraud is when someone fills out a ballot for a dead person. The deceased was already on the rolls. Since this is not the case for immigrants, it this is false equivalency.

Also laughably incorrect, as the handful of “voted for dead mother” cases brought to light were pretty much all Trump voters. Several “voted in two states” seniors found in the Villages. Also Trump voters. I don’t even recall a non-Trump voter being outed. Not in
FL anyway, that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. But even outside FL the ballot cheating had a heavy pro-Trump lean.

Were the dems just so good at this nobody could find an instance of cheating? I think Trump riled his base up so much with election mistrust, a few of these idiots felt obliged to cheat. So it actually makes sense that the found cheaters skewed that way (just as his bs convinced some reliable mail-in R voters to vote in-person… in the middle of a pandemic.)

 

Republicans do what they accuse. The election fraud that left me without a house representative for a year here in NC was because of Republican vote harvesting.

 

We learned with Trump that every accusation is really a confession.

No doubt a lot of rank ‘n file zealots that expectation can similarly be extended to.

I think with the anti-gay fundamentalism we’ve seen that play out more than a few times. A virulent homophone comes out as gay. Must be some very strange psychology! I guess some sort of extreme coping mechanism vs. a conditioned fundamentalist upbringing (i.e. extreme difficulty overcoming indoctrination).
