Yes, this is all about special tax districts. DeSantis evidently acquired doubts about them at the same time Disney disagreed with his legislation.

Even if one concedes that this sophomoric reasoning is true, so what?

This is good news. We need to slow the growth in Florida.

On a side note and for jj…Go ask the people who owned/worked in local businesses near Disneyland and Disney World about their thoughts on governing.

I can guarantee you the people who had their livelihoods destroyed by the imbecile newsome likely do not think highly of how things have been handled. Where those in Orlando were likely able to survive the nonsense of 2020 have a better view of their Governor.

It's a California heavyweight entity trying to tip the scales in Florida policy in matters that don't really affect them despite not being of Florida.

just when you think there can't be a dumber take. Q, btw, supported D's attack on a private company expressing their opinion. Probably still does. Maybe he can share some photos of Snook (rip) shitting on the constitution.

Not really true. Look at Sunbiz under Disney and Walt Disney. There’s pages and pages of corporations. Walt Disney Parks and Recreations, for example, is a Florida corporation, as are most of the Disney entities. See, for example, Detail by Entity Name

I’m sure all of those people in California loved the conversations you had with them.

It’s a conversation he had in his mind. Qanon type have lots of voices in their heads. Most of it from their different personalities…

What do you mean "entitled to express their opinions"? Do you mean that they can express their opinions, but be punished for expressing them? Is that like being entitled to rob a bank, but being subject to punishment for doing so? By definition, if you are punished for doing something, you are NOT entitled to have done it!

Can you actually read and properly interpret English?

Of course, you can, but you are pretending not to be able to do so, because, given that you understand the meaning of the first amendment, which you do, it's obvious from reading your words that you would be happy if constitutional protections were only in place to protect Republicans from despotic Democratic governmental officials, but not in place to protect Democrats from despotic Republican governmental officials.

In other words, you'd be happy if this were a dictatorship as long as the dictator were YOUR dictator. I'm sorry, but your attitude is un-American. You think you are being funny, but you are not being funny when you push fascistic ideas.

    Bottom of a pint glass
DeSantis has been booting out elected school officials all over the state. You talking about DeSantis ans democracy is cute. Biden won the election, should he be allowed to do whatever he wants? Cause you know, he won an election. Idiotic take

That decision as to their eligibility for special district was made a long time ago. The state cannot just legally repeal special districts because they want to. Fyi, I am working on the creation of two special districts right now. They are both scheduled for approval by the state within the next 3 - 6 months. There are multiple special districts formed every year.

It's really impressive how you've gone so deep down DeSantis's rabbit hole that you are in a full-on war against free speech. Sad.

Desantis represents the will of the people and Biden doesn't. Got it. How about Jerry Demmings?
