It absolutely is not. They absolutely colluded. Collusion is working together towards the same goal. High up members of the Trump Campaign gave internal polling data (which, like marketing research in corporate settings, is highly confidential) to a Russian agent at the time that they were targeting a digital marketing campaign (both paid and unpaid) to assist Trump. That is the definition of collusion. The issue is that collusion is not itself a crime. You have to prove conspiracy. That is a higher threshold. Mueller explained this fully.

No, because this is in no way an official position of the federal government, simply the opinion of one guy. It has absolutely no force of law. Essentially, it is using strong language to cover for the fact that he had a multi-year investigation to find lawbreaking and has one guilty plea and two acquittals.

BTW, if you want to get into the minutiae, Marcy Wheeler has been covering this for years (many of her tweets/posts refer back to earlier), and is breaking down the report in detail. No one has better command of the facts, including related information in other reports

    https://twitter.com/emptywheel

This seems to be her main thread

Strange that the results in the court systems don't match your rhetoric. Almost like the rhetoric is more for you than an actual description of what really happened, as determined in the dispute resolution system that we have known as the courts.

Where's the conspiracy here? The Horowitz report details the nature of Nellie's involvement in Fusion, her husband, Simpson and Steele.

Is this another guilt by insinuation gambit?

Of course not. The FBI has a horrible history chalk full of abuses.

The single person who pleaded guilty worked for the FBI. Seems reasonable to apologize given that.

But I see you are back playing your "I don't like Trump, but he should never be investigated, but I totally want him in jail." gambit. Again, there is a simple way to resolve this dispute: look at the results from the court system. Mueller's investigation convicted quite a few people. This one did not.

True, and always to advance the deep left wing biases of the average FBI agent

LOL. How about I don't want ANYONE to be screwed with by an FBI witch hunt. Is that too much to ask?

Haha, you are even mirroring his language. Watch out, soon you will start chanting "Lock her up!"

Again, look at who got convictions and who didn't. That tells you what actually happened.

Missing from the Crime of the Century is, of course, any criminal conduct. Durham referred nobody else for crimes (after he lost ugly in his two trials), AND COUKD NIT THINK OF A SINGLE RECOMMENDATION TO MAKEt to improve things. Not one.

I think MAGA does not understand the meaning of the words it deploys.

LOL. It's ok to admit the FBI, the Clinton Campaign and the Obama Admin knew this was a hoax all along. So your whole basis is who got convictions? I guess OJ didn't do it...

Are you saying I'm maga? That's interesting because to be maga i would think one would've had to have voted for that idiot either in 2016 or 2020. I did neither. But now back to your partisanship.

Haha, "hoax." You are getting close to Trump bingo!

And you are now arguing against convictions as a measure of dispute resolution. You know, because you just dislike Trump so much and want him in jail! But all those convictions of people near him totally don't count. Because OJ (it should be noted that OJ at least was found responsible for wrongful death by the court system)!

Did you call the Durham Report proof of “The Crime of the a Century?” But regardless, I was referring to another poster, responding to another poster, who was definitely not you.
