B rady never could run at all. Rodgers ran pretty well. The common denominator is they could win from the pocket. Lamar Jackson won an mvp but he’s nowhere close to being Mahomes. Not even close.
Mahomes is special but he has perhaps the best TE in the game and receivers that are no slouches including KT. Look no franchise would be upset if they got one as opposed to the other.
Historically, I would say that is true. But the game is evolving right before our very eyes. Passing will always be the defining mark of a great QB. And a team that can’t pass effectively is doomed in the NFL you are right. But what makes for a successful passer has changed. Now in addition to all of the fundamentals to be a good passer, if you can add elusiveness and mobility, you give your franchise a better chance to win. That I don’t think is subject to debate.
The entry dates are closed. Once they’re in, they’re in though. There’s no deadline to find a new team. Other than if they don’t get enrolled in time, they won’t be eligible this year. Also, graduates can enter whenever they want.
So basically we can get a quarterback any time this summer. Thanks for pointing out the difference between entry and signing
Fran was running 50 years ago. It’s not new. There are just runners now that aren’t very good throwers. They won’t last.
All the good ones have already signed. Unless you’re funny crab transfer, but that doesn’t seem likely either.
One name that comes to mind as a good analog for AR, is Demarcus Russell. They even have similar builds and skills.
JaMarcus did not have the wheels. Lamar, Jackson, or a little bit of Hurts. I. AR just needs to develop as a passer. Same thing for Lamar and Hurts.
Listening to Shane Matthews' podcast today, Franz Beard said Florida is in on former Southern Miss QB Ty Keyes. Ty Keyes - Football - Southern Miss
Well obviously AR lost that game by himself. I mean did he even make a tackle against Vandy? (Wrote in blue font)
