Most projections say FSU. I personally wouldn't be shocked if we don't end up at ULL. I would like to think the committee doesn't want us at fsu again this year. Maybe even Duke if Georgia and Clemson host?
Duke is much closer to where I live but can you imagine the ticket prices? Four teams and only 500 total seats. After the mandatory holds for each team, probably 400 available to the public at best. If Duke is the pick, they should clear the stadium between games and have separate tickets.
Has to be sort of a sad day for these girls knowing they are not hosting a regional. Doubt if they even get together for the show. No matter. We all love you and know you will be back next year.
Watch the show and you will understand. They usually film the highly ranked teams getting together watching the show.
I'm sorry, but your statement is not factual. (not trying to be argumentative) They are excited to watch the show and will gather in the media room in the softball complex to watch it. They are sad they won't be hosting but excited to see where they are going. They hope it will be a venue in which they have not played.
I want Duke to come here as the #1 seed for the regional. That would put us as the 2nd seed. That is about the best we can hope for. I saw today that Albert the Alligator predicts we will go to Louisiana with McNeese State as the #3 seed and Boise State as #4. Maybe Albert has the scoop.
