Way more believable than Ford Blasey. I just never knew she had a hard on for Bernie. Thanks for the share.

Considering the show entertaining and despising the star aren't mutually exclusive.

‘Manipulative, deceitful, user’: Tara Reade left a trail of aggrieved acquaintances
What 74 former Biden staffers think about Tara Reade's allegations
Tara Reade Loses Her Attorney as New Reporting Dents Her Story About Joe Biden
People who met Biden accuser Tara Reade describe how she used to speak favorably of the vice president and often took advantage of their good will
We Should Take Women’s Accusations Seriously. But Tara Reade’s Fall Short. | The Nation

Also keep in mind the Reade's accusation regarding was Biden was unique. The other accusations against him concerned acts like putting his arm on a woman's shoulder, another one concerned putting his arm around her waist, and one went so far as to accuse him of sniffing her hair. There were 26 accusations against Trump some of which were striking similar to Carroll's accusation and let's not forget that he bragged about grabbing women by their genitalia. When he said they let you do it when you're star what he most likely really meant was that he could get away with it because the victims were too intimidated by his power and celebrity status go forward with accusations.

That did not seem to be an attempt at humor by @GatorJMDZ.

You do realize at his deposition Trump saw a picture of Carroll taken near the time of the incident and Mr. "She's Not My Type" thought she was his wife? People age.

Sounds like you’ve been holding out hope that Trump will learn.
    It’s Nikki Haley time baby.

That should be a gotcha, but sadly, he seems to take pleasure or find satisfaction in being incorrect or mistaken. He doesn't mind or may even enjoy being proven wrong and will persist in holding incorrect beliefs or making inaccurate statements despite evidence to the contrary.

I don't think Trump confused Carroll for his ex-wife here because even if he is a multi-billionaire, I don't think he likes losing. But I do generally think there's an element of Duper's Delight with narcissists and compulsive liars when they are able to get away with lying. It's adjacent to trolling and seems to be a game to them.

Just to be clear, the 'he' in my comment was the poster JMDZ was responding to, not trump. Sorry for any possible ambiguity.

With a compulsive liar like trump, who can really tell the motivation and accuracy of any statement. I heard years ago that he would enter the trump Organization offices and lie about the weather just for the practice.

Bluke it's time for some realistic ootcomes. NH is despised by MAGA. If she got to 5%, I'd be blown away. She is one of the most entrenched Swamp Rats in DC financed by coastal Republicans and Wall Street. FOX loves her. At the end of '23 or early '24, she will drop out and lend her support to DeSantis. Scott, Christie, Sununu and other candidates beholden to the GOP will do this as well. GOP is all hands on deck for DeSantis.

If I was a juror I’d grant treble damages. Seems reasonable
