Yeah I’m sure the $50 office visit once a year is what’s driving this, those greedy Doctors.
It can be that they have a legitimate medical reason to oppose it.

Plan B has been OTC for years, I don’t see the correlation.

You know something, you guys talking about how you state facts is like the guy with erectile dysfunction talking about what a great lover he is. Your “facts” are limp, shriveled, and useless.

And to merge that thought with mine it was given by doctors in other countries, so the defense of they do it elsewhere doesn’t cross over for that… Interesting.

LOL that you think an office visit is 50 bucks. Either you’re serious about contraception or you’re not

So does tobacco, alcohol, petroleum products, asbestos, paint, and bacon along with a hundred other things. Want to ban those too?

Honestly I’m starting to believe it’s not abortion or birth control pills you guys are opposed to, it’s the sex.

When these "doctors" start selling ten days after pills... and 20 days after conception pills... you know that's the next logical step for these pro abortion people. This is just how they work.

    All depends on the insurance.
It’s part of preventative care so often it costs the patient zero.
Mind you there are free clinics that also where it is you know free.

Point is OB/Gyns are busy enough, they aren’t gonna cry if they lose out on yearly check ups because they might lose a few bucks.

So you think the morning after pill should be banned?

    That’s a creative take.

Asbestos has been banned for I think like 40 years. same with lead paint BTW.

To compare your list with a prescribe medication that the very experts have question with being OTC is a joke.

Still I ask why are you picking and choosing what experts you agree with?

For the record again, I don’t have an opinion either way, I’m just trying to explain why some of the experts are in agreement on doing this. So don’t lump in with “you guys” not even sure what that means.

BTW the College of OB/GYN (ACOG) is very pro-abortion and women’s health care so they aren’t doing for the reasons some here are suggesting.

You’re just talking about co-pays. Insurance covers the rest, usually upwards of 200 bucks.

You still haven’t come up with a legitimate reason why this can’t be done here although it’s been done for years in Europe. Easily accessible contraception is a win win for everyone.

Ask ACOG. As I’ve noted some reasons above they have been against it for years.

As I’ve noted I don’t care either way, I’ve just been trying to explain some of the reasons why some of the experts aren’t onboard and I doubt it’s because they will lose money. Ever try to get into a GYN often they are backed up for weeks.

Hell it might lower their liability if women are getting it OTC then they can’t get sued if they develop a cancer or blood clot associated with their use.

Except that you stated BC meds cause cancers to grow faster, and my point is that there are a number of OTC products that do the same thing so your argument is inane.

Further no one is pro-abortion. You don’t see a pro-abortion awareness month, or mothers planning their daughter’s first abortion party.

Pro-abortion access. You know what I meant. As opposed to anti-abortion.
We do see some celebrities posting about how glad they were to be able to get an abortion however.

As far as those other substances they aren’t things that you have needed a physician to order you to get.
That’s the current system, should all medications be available without a Rx as one poster here has suggested?

Once again the experts haven’t been on board with doing that for the reasons listed. I guess you’re cool with doing against them when you feel it’s okay but when you don’t think it’s okay people who do are idiots.

For the record I’m trying to show one side of the issue here. Some of your posts to people are rather nasty and attacking, not sure why that is.
