Nope...it doesn't dissuade me in the least. I am not going to take any advice from you on pastors, and I fully acknowledge you would say the same about me. You and I don't worship the same God. We don't believe the same thing about God's commandments and who Christ is. We don't even agree on what Christ taught. So, of course you and I would disagree on pastors. You are free to go to a church to worship your God, and I won't be there. And I'm free to go to a church and worship my God, and I am fairly confident that you would not be there.

 

I don't know...Trump has an affinity for false teachers. So, I would not be surprised if Trump has him at a rally. It is cringe worthy that Trump would invite him to a rally, but that is probably what he will do.

Ok then please understand when you dismiss this pastor’s actions out of hand as decidedly “not Christian” just realize that most of us here that remain unaffiliated see absolutely zero difference between this pastor’s delusion and your own. You’re both certain you are right and everyone else is wrong when in reality you’re just slightly different shades of the same cloth. You have the same type of hate in your heart that you think is justified by your unerring faith. It’s amazing to me you can recognize it in this man but fail to see the same in yourself.

 

"Follow" is the operative word there. What is your definition of a follower of Trump? I have never once characterized myself as a "follower" of Trump, and that is for good reason. I have never met anyone who said they follow Trump in the sense that someone would say they follow Jesus.
