What the article said and was just an opinion, is that different factors based on the individual and the evaluation by medical professionals, should be considered regarding the type of treatment for transgender teens. Although I still wouldn't object to a ban on irreversible surgeries for patients under the age of 18 I also agree that medical professionals along with the patients themselves and their parents rather than politicians should be making decisions regarding treatment. I'm not sure I would call it societal indoctrination. It's simply human nature... and it starts when we are babies. Take a female toddler and put her in a room with one side filled with Tonka type toys, and the other side with dolls and dresses with tea cup sets and the female child will NATURALLY go to the girl toys. Same with the boy to the boy toys... That is human nature. Trannies are unnatural.

Whatever the hypothesis, here’s a differentiator: in the 70’s my baby brother went through a ‘Sally’ stage and emerged genitals intact as a self-identified male. In the 90’s my young son went through a Barbie Doll staged and emerged with genitals intact as a self-identified male. Boy how time has changed since.
I find GOP efforts to dehumanize and marginilize any group as counterproductive if not ouright evil, especially with what is being doled out against trans communities nationwide now. Every form of sexual behavior will continue unabated as long as there are humans that indulge in it. Like drug use. Legislating against it is a joke unless one is in the prison construction or maintenance business. Personally I find pedophilla / pederasty to be a much more severe problem worthy of much more Gov't attention. Children cannot withstand sexual abuse psychologically. And I bet everyone on this board knows persons that have been abused and seen what the consequenses of that abuse are.
